Lucas was born on March 14th, 1991 to Tammy (Weiland) Link (Asbury, Iowa) and Rod Link (Farley, Iowa). He grew up in Asbury, Iowa as a child. Lucas remembers spending his summers at the park, pond, and reading up on presidential history. His father works at Flexsteel Industries as a steel worker and his mother is a nurse at Dubuque Specialty Care. Lucas’s sister, Lacey, lives in Portland, Oregon and works as an eCommerce Marketing Manager.
In 2009, Lucas was accepted into Loras College with hopes of becoming a teacher and football player.
